Visitors wishing to park at National Glass Centre are required to pay for parking.

From 1 June 2022 the parking tariff is:

Blue Badge holders may continue to park for free.

Please note: We operate a cashless system for parking charges.

How to pay

You can use the following methods to pay for your parking. Signs around the car park will display a code for the car park which is 807493. You will need to input this code during the payment process when requested. Please note that this is not required if using the cashless parking terminal.

Cashless Parking Terminal

For those unable to pay using the methods already described there is also a cashless payment terminal located in National Glass Centre’s car park.  This allows visitors to pay for parking using a bank card.

National Glass Centre is also well served by public transport. Find out more about how to find us using public transport.

How is it enforced?

The parking charges are enforced by University of Sunderland. Parking charge notices will be issued to those failing to park in accordance with the requirements set out in the parking signs which will be displayed across National Glass Centre’s car park.
