Creative Age

Creative Age and the Connect & Create Art Project

Would you like the opportunity to get creative and work with different artists each month through Zoom workshops, phone calls and art packs sent to your home?

Sunderland Culture is inviting Sunderland residents to stay socially connected and creative online.

Each month participants will receive a different art pack by post or email – including colourful paper, art materials, and activity instructions.

There will be a different theme each month.

Activity instructions will be sent by post or email with telephone or group Zoom calls offering a social chat to maintain personal connection and support with activities.

Connect and Create Art Project Wednesdays from 11am – 12pm.
Weekly creative zoom sessions for those who want to stay active or are perhaps going through the diagnosis stage of dementia or other similar conditions.

Creative Age Group        Wednesdays from 1pm – 2pm
Weekly creative zoom sessions for adults living with dementia and their carers.

Creative Age Carers Group         Wednesdays from 2.15pm – 3.15pm
Weekly creative zoom sessions for current adult carers or those who were previously carers.

If you don’t feel confident using zoom calls then just let us know and zoom training can either be provided by our staff or you can choose to have weekly telephone calls instead.
